Quack!

I got up while early to let the girls out and feed them. I opened the curtain to the sliding glass door and saw a duck eating out of the biggest ground feeder we have. It isn't the first time I've seen her - I think her home must have been displaced by construction this spring. It is the first time I've seen her eating Dove & Quail food though.

I fed the girls first instead and snuck back to the door for pictures while they were eating. She kept a careful watch on me in between bites and then moseyed over to a tree off to the side and hunkered down in the grass. I let the girls out, one at a time, on leash, so they wouldn't be able to chase her.
