I made a couple of bangle bracelets today. I needed something to do while Shelby was at the vet getting x-rays and ultrasound and torching was out of the question. She stopped eating her food last weekend (until we bribed her with canned for the first time ever) and had belly pain and very strange blood work. Her white blood cell count was more than double the normal amount, BUN was high, proteins were low and her red blood cell count was low. Our vet was thinking it could be pancreatitis or internal hemorrhage. Nothing showed up with all the tests today but she spent the day with IV drip and antibiotics so seems to be feeling better. He is getting the blood reworked and if it is consistent with yesterday's results, he is going to talk to a vet internal specialist. Anyway, I am very worried about the little girl.
