Kia waits patiently

I like this picture of Kia for several reasons. First, it shows she has patience. I'm taking yesterday's beads off their mandrels in the kitchen and she has settled in to wait for me to finish. Next, it shows she is loyal (to me). My husband is in the house and Kia would rather lay on a thin rug on a hard kitchen floor, watching and waiting for me, than be in a comfortable bed where my hubby is. : ) Lastly, it shows her size. Kia is a big, albeit quite slender, girl. I don't think any of my other pictures of her give any perspective on the size of this girl's frame. This one does! The door leads to the garage and is wider than inner household doors. Kia really is a big girl and I think she'll fill out once that leg heals enough for me to start walking her. Kia will have been with us for a month, this Tuesday. I am enjoying her so much and am so very glad we adopted her!
